Wow, I've been working on a lot of projects that have kept me from upgrading Sunnyside NOI. The last few days have allowed me time to jump back into working on the vision I'd had for the product originally.
The first upgrade is straightforward:
- Upgrade the main view to make it easier to see the data. I'm adding a number of different view configurations that include the high level data, as well as the full summary of operational data.
- Add better methods for interacting with the list of properties and summary data for a property. It'll be more dynamic to drill into a property for more detail and return to the list of properties.
Future upgrades will be staged to include (in no particular order, though I'll sort this as time allows so the timeline is accurate for you):
- New file import features.
- Loan amortization.
- Better wizards for adding lease/rental units, especially in large buildings.
- Additional commercial property types.
- Short forms to do quick property analysis.
- Long forms with the ability to customize or add fields (e.g. expenses.)
- Contact management.
- More CRM features.
- More detailed financial analysis and metrics.
- A bigger, better glossary.
- Intuitive and fast user interface.
- Cloud-based data.
- More reports and views into data.
- Maps and images.
My goal for Sunnyside is to turn it into a full-featured commercial real estate valuation program, with additional modules or features that provide management features alongside.
