Announcing the Next Upgrade: Sunnyside NOI

The first upgrade to Sunnyside NOI will be released sometime between today, 12/30/15 and 1/4/16.  It will be available on the Google Play Store and the Amazon AppStore for Android.  I'll make the official announcement as soon as it's available.

Wow, I've been working on a lot of projects that have kept me from upgrading Sunnyside NOI.  The last few days have allowed me time to jump back into working on the vision I'd had for the product originally.

The first upgrade is straightforward:
  1. Upgrade the main view to make it easier to see the data.  I'm adding a number of different view configurations that include the high level data, as well as the full summary of operational data.
  2. Add better methods for interacting with the list of properties and summary data for a property.  It'll be more dynamic to drill into a property for more detail and return to the list of properties.
Future upgrades will be staged to include (in no particular order, though I'll sort this as time allows so the timeline is accurate for you):
  1. New file import features.
  2. Loan amortization.
  3. Better wizards for adding lease/rental units, especially in large buildings.
  4. Additional commercial property types.
  5. Short forms to do quick property analysis.
  6. Long forms with the ability to customize or add fields (e.g. expenses.)
  7. Contact management.
  8. More CRM features.
  9. More detailed financial analysis and metrics.
  10. A bigger, better glossary.
  11. Intuitive and fast user interface.
  12. Cloud-based data.
  13. More reports and views into data.
  14. Maps and images.
My goal for Sunnyside is to turn it into a full-featured commercial real estate valuation program, with additional modules or features that provide management features alongside.

Calc Me Sum Free: The Colorful Calculator for Android

Calc Me Sum Free is the first calculator product I've released for Android devices.  It's the first in a product line of calculators for mobile devices I've designed and am in the process of building.  I'll be releasing new versions in stages, starting in early 2016.

Download Calc Me Sum Free, version 1.0, and I'll give you a free upgrade path to two premium products in the future.  That's three for the price of free!

Aside from basic and convenient calculator operations, Calc Me Sum provides a set of themes with a variety of configurations.  Here's one of the themes, called Sunrise:

And another theme called, BroDeezeGreen:

The application is available for download on the Google Play Store and the Amazon AppStore for Android.

Calc Me Sum is currently available for download for free.  The pay version will be available in early 2016:
  1. The free version is ad-supported.  It provides a set of seven themes with less configuration options than the pay version.
  2. The pay version will offer twelve themes and the ability to customize button shapes, gradients, and button styles.
In future versions, I'll be expanding the number of math functions to include an expanded set of scientific functions.  Calc Me Sum will also get a history feature and a tape.  More advanced versions of Calc Me Sum will also plot and graph functions, and be programmable, too.  I'm also working on a theme designer that will allow you to create your own color scheme and share it with others.
